Registration for Camp Fowler, Summer 2015 is underway. Fowler is a non-profit Christian children's camp that practices a compassionate Christianity that is grounded in openness and hospitality. Please contact Pat Kinne at 463-4263 if you are planning on going to Fowler this summer. The sooner you let us know the better, as weeks will fill up fast. When letting Pat know, please be sure to include what week you plan to be a camper.
The Witness Committee invites you to join us for a potluck supper at the church on May 8th at 6:00 pm, followed by a presentation by Pastors Suzi and Jim Harriff, about the rebirth and revitalization of Rwanda. Suzi and Jim will share in word, song and pictures stories of the miraculous rebirth and revitalization of Rwanda, a tiny African nation, in the aftermath of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi people. A freewill offering will be received, and authentic Rwandan coffee and samples of Rwandan handicrafts will be available.
The 19th Annual L’Arche Syracuse Mother’s Day Flower and Plants sale begins Wed May 6th and runs through Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 10th) at Shop City Plaza, off Teall Ave in Syracuse. Hours are Wednesday from 2:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday-Saturday 9:00-7:00 p.m., and Sunday 9:00 a.m.- Noon. There will be a wide variety of annual baskets, perennials, decorative house plants, and on Saturday and Sunday there will also be arrangements of cut flowers.
